The Conference Championships are over, and the matchup for the 2009 Superbowl is set. The Arizona Cardinals capitalized on Philadelphia’s mistakes to win the NFC Championship 32-25. Behind the stellar defensive play of Troy Polamalu, the Steelers contained Ravens’ rookie QB Joe Flacco. The Steelers’ 23-14 win puts them in the Super Bowl for the second time in 4 years. This is the first Super Bowl appearance, and second Championship game (the Chicago Cards won the 1947 meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles).
The 2009 Super Bowl will be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on February 1st, 2009. Super Bowl Tickets are available now!
