| THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO BLACK EYED PEAS EVENTS. |
The Black Eyed Peas officially hit the scene in 1995, after an earlier incarnation called Atban Klann, reformed with original members: will.i.am and apl.de.ap and new member Taboo. The Black Eyed Peas began performing in Los Angeles and offered an alternative to the popular genre of Gangsta Rap which was very popular in L.A. Their first album was 1998's Behind The Front which earned critical acclaim.
It wasn't until 2003's Elephunk that The Black Eyed Peas really hit their peak. This album introduced the Peas' newest and most popular member, Fergie. Fergie's voice introduced new life into the sound of The Black Eyed Peas. Her presence also added female sex appeal that the all-male member group was lacking. The Black Eyed Peas' latest album Monkey Business, has been their most successful yet. Their rising popularity recently allowed them to open several shows for The Rolling Stones' 2005 tour. After touring arenas all through 2006, the Black Eyed Peas will be on the road again this year.
