Anaheim Ducks information, Founded as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 1993, the team has since dropped the Mighty from its name, but not its game. They play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference.

Since the NHL lockout in 2005 the Ducks have made the playoffs for the past four consecutive seasons. In 2007 they made history by winning their first Stanley Cup title after defeating the Ottawa Senators in five games. The following two seasons served as successful for Anaheim. They finished around the top of their division, but were not able to advance past the Conference Semifinals.

The Ducks are led by Scott Niedermayer, Ryan Getzlaf, and goalie Jean-Sebastian Giguere. With their strong nucleus of veteran players, there is no reason why Anaheim can't find themselves back in contention for another championship.
