R&B singer-songwriter Alicia Keys first hit mainstream success with her 2001 album "Songs In A Minor." Featuring the classic hits "Fallin'" and "A Woman's Worth," "Songs In A Minor" was ranked in Q Magazine's 100 Greatest Albums Ever. Over the past eight years Keys has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
The multi-platinum artist has also been showcasing her acting skills for quite some time. She debuted on the TV screen at the age of four in 1985, playing Maria in a season 1 episode of "The Cosby Show." In 2007 and 2008 she earned roles in "Smokin' Aces," "The Nanny Diaries," and "The Secret Life of Bees."
Keys is now touring to further promote "The Element of Freedom," her fourth studio album that went on to sell 400,000 copies its first week in stores. Her most recognizable songs this year include "Empire State of Mind" with Jay-Z and "Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart." The 12-time Grammy Award winner is set to perform at the Agganis Arena in Boston March 22nd before she makes her way to the STAPLES Center April 6th.
